Refunds and cancellation
In one sentence
The fee is charged the moment your application is filed with the consulate, and no refund is possible after that. Cancel before filing and the full amount is refunded.
When can you cancel?
While the application is draft, submitted, document rejected, correction required or under review, from the tracking page. The held amount is released and your payment is refunded.
When is there no refund?
From the moment you receive the "filed with the consulate" notification. A consulate refusal is not refunded either.
Automatic refund
While waiting on you we remind on days 3, 7 and 12; on day 14 the application lapses and the fee is refunded automatically.
